About This Course
A Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) extends your range and opens up dive sites that are otherwise out of reach. DPV Diver 1 teaches safe scooter operation in open water, including dive planning, teamwork, navigation, standard and emergency procedures, stress management, hazards, and DPV maintenance.

Prerequisites
- Minimum age 16
- Non-smoker
- GUE Open Water Diver, Performance Diver, or GUE Basic Fundamentals certification
- Minimum 75 non-training dives post-certification
- Good physical health and swimming ability
- If using drysuit: 15 non-training drysuit dives OR 10 dives after GUE Drysuit Primer
