About This Course

The GUE Technical Fundamentals course prepares experienced divers for advanced technical, rebreather, or cave programs. Divers holding a Performance Diver or Basic Fundamentals certification may receive partial credit at instructor discretion.

Prerequisites

  • Minimum age 16
  • Current certification to 30m from a recognized agency (or GUE Deep Primer)
  • Minimum 75 non-training dives post-certification, with at least 25 deeper than 21m
  • Minimum 25 dives in double tanks OR 15 dives following GUE Doubles Primer
  • Non-smoker; basic swimming ability; good physical health
  • If using drysuit: 15 non-training drysuit dives OR 10 dives after GUE Drysuit Primer
